I have had my gall bladder removed and also had to have scar tissue removed from my bowel. Yesterday I was fine and then all of a sudden I felt like I was going to pass out. I then had a bowel movement like never before. After this I have been seeing red blood and clots in my stool. Help?

What are you doing on here, asking us. Get up and go to your doctor. This is necessary for your continued health!

They should have given you a sheet of paper with some information written down on it after your surgery. It tells things you might experience and what is normal and what is not. It should have also given you an emergency number or pager of someone you could contact as follow-up if you had any problems or questions. Call your doctor's office. Since it is the weekend, listen to the entire message on their answering machine. They will usually give you a number to call if it is something that cannot wait until the office opens again. Try calling the "on call" number and talk to a nurse.

You could be experiencing something that the doctor really needs to know about.

I am guessing that you have not sought medical care because you are fearful. You did not say if your surgeries were recent or in the past. Responses to your inquiry on this sight might include speculation on your condition from hemorrhoids to colon cancer. However, you need to see your doctor pronto for diagnostic testing.
If your doc cannot see you right away, go to a hospital emergency room or urgent care. I hope all is well.

You need to get in to a doctor now. You could be experiencing a dangerous drop in blood pressure or oxygen to your brain (pass out feeling), because of internal bleeding. Call someone to take you in. Better safe than sorry. You definately should not be alone.
Good luck, dear.

call the doctor immediately so he or she can recheck you. Bleeding and clots coming form the bowels is not a good sign. Do not wait for any more answers. Do it now.
