Fish a team of them, on droppers. Fish static, or let the wind blow them about a bit.
Use a brightly coloured floating line, with the heaviest buzzer on the point. This way you are fishing through several depths. Watch the end of your fly line, when it moves strangely- strike!
You can use a blob, CDC fly or a greased up shipmans buzzer on the top dropper as an indicator too.
some fishers use a 'washing line' technique, with a booby or floating fly on the point, and two or three buzzers above it.
If neither work, stick on an orange, or black and green lure!

You dont need a mega long leader , I dont fish with anything
longer than 15 feet , you could try an epoxy buzzer on the point ,
maybe a daiwl bach on the second dropper and if you want to
use three flys try a skinny blakeston buzzer , try different
combinations , colours etc, I would use fluorocarbon as a leader
6 or 8lb... if its breezy cast to one side letting the breeze bring
the flys round , when there is a curve in the line hang
on as this can be the time where takes occur , try a booby and
two buzzers on a HI D in deep water , figure 8 them back
slowly , good luck and tight lines .

retrieve the buzzer fairly fast on a sinking line, superb for lakes on a calm day.
Tight Lines !

I usually fish them on a floating line and let them drift with the wind until I start to retrieve them slowly but jerkily. Fish them right up to your feet as the fish is sometimes following them right in.....good luck....

Never open the door on the first buzz. Make the fish ring twice. Works for me.
