When prayers are not answered, it can be for a variety of reasons.

1. If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:" (Psalm 66:18)

2. "You ask for something but do not get it because you ask for it for the wrong reason-for your own pleasure." (James 4:3)

3. "...Honor them as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing may interfere with your prayers." (I Peter 3:7)

4. "You will receive whatever you ask for in prayer, if you believe." (Matthew 21:22)

5. "But whenever you pray, go into your room, close the door, and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. "When you are praying, don't say meaningless words like the Gentiles do, for they think they will be heard because of their wordiness. Don't be like them, because your Father knows what you need before you ask him." (Matthew 6:6-8)

You can tell how He has answered your prayers by making a specific list of your prayer requests, and then make a space to mark the answers when you get them. You should keep praying until you get your answer. (Luke 18:1ff)

You also mentioned that you go to church "some." How often do you go? If it isn't a regular part of your life, you are in disobedience. As Hebrews 10:24-25 says, "And let us continue to consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another even more as you see the day coming nearer."

Sometimes the answer is "no" when you ask something that will not be good for you. Sometimes the answer is "wait" for all you know He said "yes" but not yet or in due time or you have to work for it or be patient. Ask and you shall receive. Be a good son or daughter and maybe your Father will give you what you need if it is good for you. Don't forget to go to church all the time (Every Sunday or more often when you can.). If you miss going there on Sundays, you may be in a state of sin so you might have to say sorry first and then when you are in a state of grace, you have more chances of God answering your prayers because He takes care of His children if they try to obey His commandments..

Have you ever thought about the offering plate in church? If God is real, why do they have to pass it? If you read these verses in the Bible, you can see that God claims to be extremely powerful and willing to answer any prayer:

* Matthew 7:7
* Matthew 17:20
* Matthew 21:21
* Mark 11:24
* John 14:12-14
* Matthew 18:19
* Mark 9:23
* Luke 1:37

Now consider this: Why don't the ministers and deacons of the church gather together every Sunday morning and pray to Jesus for the money they need? Why doesn't Jesus answer their prayers? Why do churches have to beg for money from mere mortals when there is an immortal, all-powerful God who should provide anything they ask for? Here is what "God" is saying:

Pray to me for anything and I will hear and answer your prayers. I say it in dozens of places in the Bible, but I like the way I say it in Mark 11:24 the best: "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." Anything you need -- money, love, happiness, you name it -- I am here to provide it for you.

Now, there is just one thing I need in return. I need your money. I need lots of your money. The Bible specifies that you tithe ten percent of your income to me, but think of that as a starting point. Feel free to give more!

Because even though I created the universe and everything in it, and even though I will give you everything you ask for in prayer, I can't give a cent to any church, ever. When they pass the offering plate at church, be sure to give generously!

This, of course, is ridiculous.

The reason why they pass the offering plate at church is because God is imaginary.

Maybe because you're worshiping more than one God, God says in the Holy Qur'an that He forgives all sins except if you worship more than one God, and Christians say that God is Trinity, and that's very wrong..

Cause your praying with your brain, and not with your heart.
