Practically it is one religion, if you have ever heard of the term "Abrahamism". The ethnic and other differences of the ever quarrelling people in the region, generated the three different "religions". I believe that the real differences are more strongly related to issues such as the distribution of water-wells and camels than to spiritual issues

Tigris and Euphrates Rivers, Fertile Crescent, Cradle of civilization, etc. This is where it all began. (Or at least where all of *gestures around herself* this began) There were religions that got started in other areas, it's just that the way the Big Three work, focusing on conversions and holy wars and the like, the vast majority of other religions have been swallowed up and consumed. Kinda hard to live a peaceful life in harmony with the Goddess when you've got people wanting to stone you or worse for being a witch.
Want a little more insight into this topic, agriculture vs. hunting/gathering, and more? Read Ishmael by Daniel Quinn. Good stuff.

Woah, hold your horses there. Religions have originated in Brazil, Africa, and Japan... as well as many other regions of the world. In fact, in the old times each little part of the world had their own religion. Most culture were polytheistic. The Middle East just happen to have given rise to a more violent form of monotheism which was set on conquering the world. Monotheism was a late development in the grand scheme of things.
(And no, humans did not originate in the Middle East, they originated from Africa.)

The 5 major religions of the world are the Jews, Christians, Muslims, Buddhist, and Hindus. Three of these did originate from the middle east but all three are based on the same supreme being. The other two religions come from different cradles of civilization and therefore are based on different principals.

Judaism arose in the middle east and it appeared to be kinda catchy, so Christians and Muslims incorporated it in their own mythologies
But you are wrong about Brazil, Africa, and Japan - they had religions of their own, but I suppose they are not as catchy

The Middle East is where the "birthplace" of civilization is, Mesopotamia. And since this is where civilization started, many of the major religions had started there. And other religions started elsewhere too. Buddhism and Voodoo, among others.

the religion grew to become into propagated interior the midsection East to exert administration over the undemanding human beings, very resembling Constantine used Christianity to do. the effects are a undemanding language, a choose for peace and prosperity, a reverence for existence and an underlying opt to do solid works. there'll consistently be extremists who pervert and twist faith for own benefit and potential, any faith, and those are the folk who stand out and are counted. maximum individuals of religions, alongside with Islam, prepare love and peace as their ideas.
