I mean didn't he just take the weekend off?

He died on Friday and then rose from the dead Sunday... so he really didn't die, which means he didn't die for anyone's sins.

There you got it now? No one died for your sins. Even if Jesus did how does that work exactly? Umm... I got the answer - it doesn't. So go play somewhere else. Kthanks.

When Jesus died, he went to hell and got the keys of Hell it says in revelations, to the ultimate sacrifce. And yes Jesus also died for your sins, but being one-minded, you probably never even searched for the truth. Why mouth my God? Does that make you feel more like a man?

The Almighty YHVH created this world very good. Once man sinned, he could no longer meet the requirements of YHVH. Because of His great love for man, He send His son the Savior. The Savior's name means YHVH is my Savior!--YAHOSHUA! The only way one can have his sins taken care of is to invite the Savior in to carry them. If a person chooses to remain attached to their sins, they will be consumed in the cleansing fire the Almighty will send to cleanse this world so He can make it new! How could the Almighty be more generous? The Messiah made it very clear that He would be dead three days and three nights. He died just before sundown on Wed (as the passover lamb was being killed) and He was raised just after sundown Sabbath ("Saturday") as a new week dawned (-began).

And why was Jesus dying really that much of a sacrifice?

Look at it from Jesus's point of view. He is part of the trinity, he is god, he comes to earth for a brief sojourn. He has to die to get back up to heaven anyway, so what's the big deal?

The whole thing is silly.

He died on the cross . It only takes a moment to die so how can you say he didn't die for our sins.

Yes Jesus did die for our sins and this is how it works:

When Jesus came to die for our sins he paid the penalty spending an *equivalent* amount of time under God's wrath for an eternity for all those He came to save. How he did this in a short amount of time is a mystery. For instance if I become an eventual believer in Jesus Christ, it means that He paid for all the sins I have ever committed in my life from my birth to death by paying for them under God's wrath. Imagine now how many other people's sins He was laden with and how much torment he suffered!! So since our sins have been paid for, it means we will not experience God's wrath since Jesus already experienced God's wrath for us.

But now this comes to a hard topic called "Election and Predestination". If Christ came to pay for every single sin in the history of the world, no one can go into hell since their sins would have already been paid for. Christ did not pay for every single sin ever committed in the history of time. He came to die for those He chose to save. If I become a believer in Jesus Christ it means that Christ had chosen to pay for my sins at the cross.

Romans 9 talks about election and predestination.

Jesus was hung on the cross , they took him down and placed him in a cave for three days, when he rose from the dead and left the cave and if he saw his shadow then we would get winter for 6 more weeks

Substitutionary atonement is forbidden.
Sacrifice outside the temple is forbidden.
Human sacrifice (and Jesus was, according to Christians, True god and True man) is forbidden.

Jesus could not have died for your sins, period. He was a deceiver. If YHVH actually turned out to exist, then Jesus was of Satan.

History says blood atonement was done with animals, not humans.

Unless youre cannibalistic.

J.P has it right there...

But Jesus was not a deceiver...those who claimed he died for your sins...are the deceivers...namely Constantine and his lot.

If Jesus ever wanted to die for peoples sins, he would have put himself on the cross the day he was old enough.

That could have been a question but really it was an excuse to be rude.

Jesus gave his life directly for one person: Barnabas (the thief that was released instead of Jesus).

Everything else is hearsay.
