I want to achieve a softer look despite my dark hair and eyes!!! Help!?

I'm 23, with light brown skin and dark black hair and eyes that are so dark that they look black, too. My brows are shaped well, naturally, but they add to the severity.

I would love to achieve a softer, more girlish look. But, how?

With all that dark about u...i would suggest not to change facial apparence. Just change the clothes you wear...avoid dark clothes and go for cream/beige cotton like materials...shirts or khakis to wear...with ur skin tone and hair color it should look great!and for summer maybe just spice it up with colored light tones...baby blue..candy pink the choice is urs...just stay frm the dark colored clothes if u want the soft effect..

Lighten your hair just one or two shades and consider soft highlights around the face. Also lighten your brows with Jolene bleach, which you can get at any pharmacy (I do it and it's simple). Stick to light brown/caramel colors for your makeup, not exactly monotone but similar colors. Your coloring would also look great with lots of other makeup colors too, but for a softer look, this would work well.

I think you and I have similar coloring. So you can try: MAC's Amplified shade of lipstick with a medium brown lipliner, and a warm apricot cheek color. See if they can rec a good eye color at the MAC counter too.

Dark hair and dark eyes is very appealing, you should be proud of those looks. Instead of trying to look more girlish, try to bring out the darkness in your looks. Wear a Red shirt, and black pants... black eye liner to really bring out your dark eyes. The guys will swoon.

Try dying your hair a light shade of brown, not blonde---a light shade of brown. And get color contacts, maybe hazel eyes, or green eyes would look nice with light brown eyes. And if you're complexion is too dark, try to make it a light tone of tan. A very light tone of tan, but not pale. Wear lighter colors---not pink (that gives off a statement saying your trying too hard).

be sure that you dont wear liquid eyeliner, it creates a harsh look. just wear some soft makeup

maybe a brown eyeliner and pink eyeshadow and lengthening mascara... dont forket a pinky blush

you can always bleach your eyebrows just 1 or 2 shades lighter but then it may loo a bit awkward since they wouldnt match your hair

be sure that your eyebrows are shaped with a curve and not a peak for a softer look

ARE YOU SERIOUS??!?!?!?? I am so jealous. You sound GORGEOUS, sexy, intense-looking; guys go crazy for that!!!!!! I have a very "soft" look, which guys also like, but I would LOVE to have that intense (not "severe" as you negatively worded it!!), passionate, sexual look. Why the heck would u want to look "girlish"??? Thank God for the beauty and power u have been blessed with!

ok sweety im in the work to doing make up and im telling u this ....1. wax your eyebrows this will make your face look cleaner and give you a good look second wear mascara (black) light eyeliner and wear pleanty of eyeshadow ...a word of advice never match ur eyeshadow to the color of clothing u are wearing hope this helps

use only masara on youreyes with a eye shadow that is lighter than your skin,try an d get the wide eyed look

I would try a different hairstyle.. maybe long with soft curls. Wear your makeup light.
