what did she mean by this quote as we returned to the house every object which i touched seemed to quiver with life.

Giving in an object "life" symbolizes just what it sounds like... it is alive to her. Before she didn't pay attention, but when she could really feel each object she knew what it was, she could imagine it to herself. Things were no longer just still, lifeless objects that she could neither nor hear, but they became real.
I hope this made sense to you, essentialy she didn't let her blindness take away from things, so they became just as real to her as to someone that could see them, if not more
