No the glasses strengthen your eyes and some people even decrease their prescription by wearing them as it helps your eyes. As for hearing aids those do not make you dependent on them as they merely amplify sounds so you can hear them more clearly. However if you wear you aides while you mow the lawn or attend loud rock concerts etc yes you will increase your hearing damage the same as you would without a hearing aid.
