Are you happy there? happy with what you are doing? What do you do? What would you pick for your perfect job, if you could? I would probably be a writer. travel to small town areas, meet interesting people, . I'd give so much of all the proceeds I made from my books to help people ( starting with my own family members), Maybe even some of those interesting people I met along the way. Not using spellcheck here, so If I spelled anything wrong, whoops! That's what proofreaders are for. LOL

I love my job. I am a church planting missionary on the mouth of the Amazon River. I would choose to be doing what I am doing.
I too would love to be a writer, if I could just find the discipline.

I like my job - but it isn't very financially secure.
If you want to be a writer, do use the spell check. If you think editors like writers that don't do basic spelling, you are wrong. Do the best you can - so your work gets sold. Only when you are an established writer can you expect proofreaders to clean up after you.

I go back and forth with how much I like my job, LOL. I just started a new one in a slightly different career path, so I'm in a big learning phase- tough for me after being the 'go-to' person in my other job.
I'd love to be a writer, too, and start my own publication. I'm also a graphic designer, and get great satisfaction from that.

I love my job, just not the pay, especially with the price of gas ( I have to use my own ). I deliver newspapers, between 2 am and 6 am. It is soo beautiful and peaceful, I ride with my sunroof open and you would be amazed how many falling stars you see without even looking for them. I like to listen to talk radio and just enjoy the ride. Oh, and you get to see all the weird stuff that goes on while everyone else is sleeping. I've been doing it for ten years.

I am not working right now, but like you I am writing. I also travel to small towns, and get a lot of inspiration from those places. Stayed for a year in a small Arizona town, spent three months in two summers in a small Idaho town, spent a couple of weeks in a very small town in northern Nevada, and spent several months in two small California towns. It's great to get out of the city and crowds.

I had a very good career but quit my job 5 years ago because I go tired of the rat-race.
I now stay home and run my household for my husband and daughter who still lives at home with us.
We enjoy our lives more now and it's a lot less hectic and no stress.
I love it & wish I had done it sooner.
So...yes I love my job.

I choose to work part time. My job is of secondary importance-I need the wage but I have other more important things in my life that I prefer to devote my time to.
