First see a doctor make sure there's nothing wrong with you to begin with
Second eat healthier foods & take dietary suppliments (like a multi-vitamin)
Third get a gym partner to help with your workouts this helps you stay motivated too
Fourth develope some realistic goals for what you want to see happen
Fifth stick with the plan & stay consistant

You may never develope rippling muscles but you'll be healthy. The key is to take your time and do things slowly. Nothing's going to happen over night. It took you 18 years to get the way you are now, so don't expect miracles in a few short weeks. Good luck

Talk to a doctor about it and follow professional advice. A consult will cost less than you think. If you are a student, the cost may be met by public funding depending on the nature of your need. First thing to do is seek professional advice. Don't wait.

AA) No need to worry about not gaining weight as you are still in the growing age.
You seem to be worried about not gaining weight but once you gained weight ,losing it is very difficult unless you follow a difficult regime of balanced diet, exercise and life style modification.
Right now if you are healthy'

Seriously you want to gain weight? Some people pay large amount of money just to loose weight @_@ They say at the age of 18-20, we have to at least exercise 30 minutes a day. You can exercise and eat a lot(not really a lot but eat until you are satisfied that you stomach will not blow up) so that you can still maintain your physical fitness and build muscles at the same time (for men). If you are a female, I suggest you maintain that weight because when you reach old age, you will gain a weight about 50+ kg.

You seem to be worried about not gaining weight but once you gained weight ,losing it is very difficult unless you follow a difficult regime of balanced diet, exercise and life style modification.
Right now if you are healthy'
if you are not getting exhausted often,
if your normal activities are not affected,
There is nothing toworry.
If you want to increase your weight,
you can take one boiled egg a day till you gain enough weight to maintain your optimum BMI(body mass index),some snacks in between meals,some meat moderately,fish, vegetables , fruits etc .
Once you have reached the desired level of weight retrace the path in diet etc. i.e.cut down eggs,cut down fried stuff,snacks etc.
For your info.
What is BMI ?
BMI = Weight in Kilo Grams divided by Square of height (in metres).
i.e BMI= weight / (height in metres)2
Pl.ote down the BMI levels recommended.

BMI =20 to 23 .......below normal.
BMI=24 to 26 ..... Ideal.
BMI=27 to 30 ..... Over weight.
BMI= 31 and above ....... Obesity
Your weight = 45 Kgs.
Your height( ?)= 5 feet, 6 inches or 165 cm or 1.65 metre.
Your BMI= 45/(1.65*1.65)
= 45/(2.7225)
=16.53
Your BMI for a weight and assumed height of 1.65 metre is very low .
You need to improve your weight further to get your BMI around 25.
Morning walk ,work out in Gym etc help you to become healthy,and to lose weight by expending calories .These activities will produce opposite effect to that of gaining weight.
Pl consult your dietitian or your doctor before you make any drastic changes in your diet,exercise or life style.
