Disadvantages are new viruses, diseases, ecological damage, breathing problems, more intense storms.
Advantages are if you own a business that is able to generate energy and help reduce or eliminate greenhouse gases. Then you will be come very wealthy.

Well--it should leade to a lot of new beachfront property. And high CO2 levels are great for growing poison ivy (makes the toxin stronger, too).

There's no 'advantage" to global warming. It's a problem pure and simple--the only "good" thing about it is that, because its the result of human technology, we can shift that technology and so do something about it.

Sure. The price of land in Alaska will go up.

Millions of tons of crap DAILY into the atmosphere is nothing to sneeze at. Pun intended.

We are screwing ourselves over for a buck.
Shooting ourselves in the herd.
Stepping on our own ducks.
Cutting off our nose to spite our finch.
Kicking ourselves in the asparagus beetle.

For the almighty dollar we're ruining it for everybody and everything, and people who deny it are three fries short of a Happy Meal.
