Don't you hate messy people who gossip too much-especially church people?

These people at my bible class go & gossip to my former foster mother things about how they saw me on the street, dressed or how my hair looks, & then she comes & confronts me about it & yells @ me about it. I'm 23 yrs. old & a college grad, living on my own. & then, they read my blogs on MySpace & go back & tell her what I wrote about my day, & she comes back & fusses @ me for it. I moved to New York from New Orleans, & my foster mom knows that. I'm on my own now. They run up to her, saying, "Did you know Candy moved to New York?" Like I'm a child who ran away.

Those people should worry about their own souls, rather than the clothes that I have on, or what information I have posted on the internet. Our bible class teaches us to examine yourself before trying to judge others.

your foster mother probably still cares you alot but other such ppl might be a little nosey.

if somebody give you love and a roof over your head, you can cut them aq bit of slack. you should probably tell your foster mother yourself and then their gossip will be less effective

in our culture for some reason ppl who adopt or take foster kids are looked down on and considered artificial.People look for the boirth mother than could not or would not, rather than appreciate those that could and did. Genetics is cool enough but except in a few cases of rare wierdoes, ppl who do the most good get a bad wrap.

So, next time you move, take time to write to your foster mom how you'd like to invite her over to see how well your doing!!! dO THAT AND THE GOSSIP WILL STOP IN ITS TRACKS.

P.S. NOTHING TO DO WITH SALVATION and christ. Just show your step/foster mother you appreciate wat she did for you and she'll be yelling at the gossipers.

In terms of christ? remember wat she did for you and find ways to help others too.

Well, and as a Christian we must forgive even the gossip mongers at church, for they know not what they do. Sometimes it's good to look inside ourselves and ask why we are so upset with them and why it is effecting us so much. Many times with these kinds of issues that keep repeating over and over again means that God is allowing it in order to show that there is something in us that He wants to change. Maybe you have become bitter and resentful towards them because you may not be able to forgive them. Remember, Jesus said to Love One Another.( in the fellowship of Christ) He didn't say just to love those who love you. He said to love your enemies also, even if those enemies are in the church. Forgiveness is proof of obedience to His command to love, especially within the church.We can talk all the talk, but it is the real Christian who walks the walk.
Seek the Lord first and He will deal with them after He deals with your own heart first.

Small people talk about other people. Big people talk about things. Biggest people talk about ideas. IF your church group is a gossipy bunch, I suggest that you are in the wrong group. These same people find nothing but bad things to say about their "friends," yet spend the week thinking they are the holiest beings on Earth. indeed gossiping is a sin,and a very common one that can divide a church.it is unfortunate that it has infected yours perhaps you should go to that person and confront them about it,then take someone else if that does not work maybe talk to your pastor about it. gossip can destroy a persons life if not nipped in the bud. good luck sweetie and God bless!

you are telling me.. last week i had to change my hairdo because of these people... tommorow im gonna pretend to be sick to get out of going.. if that makes me bad than imagine how bad those people must be to force a religous girl not to go to church
