She was greedy and wanted the knowledge right then and there and was going to do whatever it took to get it. Besides, if SHE took the fruit from the tree, then bad things would happen to her. So she told Adam to do it, not thinking about what would happen to him/them if she did, and in the end they both ended up paying for it. Adam was a dummy for not thinking about what he was doing. Its not like "Oh it is all Eve's fault, blame her", Adam had a brain and he knew what he was doing, he was just wanting to get his cut later (his share of knowledge of good and evil).

Why did god punisher her. If she had no knowledge of good and evil how could she know disobabying god and eating the fruit from the knowledge of good and evil was bad. She would have to have knowledge of that, and the only way she could was to eat the fruit. Doesn't quite work now does it.

The story of Adam and Eve is a myth. It is an attempt upon the part of primitive people to resolve the question of human origins. It has no basis in fact.

The "knowledge of good and evil" does not make one wiser. It makes one aware of evil. Before-Eve did not know of evil.
