I hope that the loneliness that Valentines Day fosters in all single people might increase my potential for meeting someone and was wondering if anyone might know where I might find women on that day who are just as lonely and desperate as I am. Better yet, if someone knew of such a location in DC, I'd really appreciate learning of such a location.
Despite my best attempts to meet someone, which include asking friends if they might "know someone", perusing the local bar/club scene, and volunteering at several organizations, which I support, but also where I hope to meet someone, I have been alone for the past 37 months. I've also attempted to alter myself, short of plastic surgery, to fit women’s ideals but this too has been to no avail.
Assuming that single girls will be feeling just as lonely as I on that particular day, I can only hope that I will have a better chance of meeting someone.

there are so many girls who are waiting that you talk to them..
try at first find a great friend then with her you can be something more..Good Luck

first off, i think u might be trying to hard to find someone... ask anybody u know, almost every person who is with someone, it happened unexpectedly... it always seems to happen when u are trying the least, or when u aren't looking so to speak...
in terms of your valentine's day question, there is no set place that single women will flock to in hopes of finding a date... i think it'd be harder to find them on V-Day anyways, girls tend to stick together if they are single on that particular day, making it a blockbuster night, or they will hid out in their own homes so that nobody would know that they didn't have a date...
just relax, take it easy, i think you're worrying yourself and stressing yourself out about being alone... alone time is good, helps u grow as a person, and u discover more about yourself... u definately shouldn't be counting the months that u have been single, that is a little overkill if u ask me...

try online dating =) my husband and i are a online sucess story... the best part is you can say what you are all about, the lady can say what she's all about, and if you aren't feeling each other you never even have to meet... no time wasted
