I use a program called Deepburner which i find very good.
1. Just type Deepburner into Google and download it from the Deepburner website.
2.When it is downloaded open up the setup and follow all the setup instructions.
3.Once it is installed open it up and click on the data DVD/CD button. When that is done it will open up a window and asks you if you want to create a multisession disk. Click on that.
4.Now 3 lines down from the top there is a line with 6 icons and only 4 are active click on the picture of a folder and a + sign if you want to add a whole folder to the disk or the picture of a folder and a arrow sign if you want to add multiple files.
5. once you have selected all your folders and files go to the second line down and the seventh button across with the picture of a disk and click on that
6. then click on the start "burn" button at the bottom.

Note: This will not be a ble to play on a DVD/CD player this is purely a backup DVD/CD.

If you want to make a DVD/CD that can be played on a DVD/CD player then you have to open up Deepburner again and click on the "create audio c.d" icon and then follow the steps from 4 and it will create a cd that can be played on a dvd or a cd player.
Hope this helps

I use Sonic. It came free with my laptop and is easy to use.

Although i have never burned somethign from LimeWire to it, i only do it from DVDs i've copied on there before hand. But the process should be reasonably similar.

Although i couldn't really tell you how to do it because i don't knwo what software you're going to be using and the process oculd be quite different between two different programs

Once you have found some decent software to use then it would be a good idea to ask! ;)

How do you burn your cd's @ the moment ? (m if Nero doesn't it give you a chice to do dvd ? ) DvDSanta is easy and gives you a guide with it . If you download off LimeWire @ the mo you could get it from there . (although i wouldn't advise anybody to download zip files from there ,personal choice ) or better still WINMX ( the free version )

If you have a DVD burner it should have come supplied with the correct software to use for burning to it.

Check to make sure you don't have NERO installed on your machine

both of those are programs that you would have to pay for. but it depends if u just want to copy data for example a powerpoint presentation or even music u dont need a program just drag and drop them into ur cd drive on my computer. but if u need to burn a movie use google!!

You might also try to find something on www.download.com try that and put like free dvd burning software but check to make sure its FULLY free, with no restrictions, rather than just a supposed free software.
