I know a few ex-christians and ex-catholics and alot of people who flounder around somewhere between buddhism, atheism and wicca.

What has your experience been like if you have traveled different roads?

(and I don't really mean a presbyterian who becomes a methodist - that's not a lifestyle change, it's just walking across the street...)

From a Catholic at birth, I studied various religions... I walked more than a few miles in the muslimah's shoes studying Islam. I'm one of those people who prefers to learn more than what is just in the books. It was a very interesting experience in hijab. Eventually I wound up as a Wiccan and it was a very pleasant experience but I still disagreed with some of the concepts as I understood them at the time until I stumbled on Buddhism and am permanently Buddhist now.

The more searching I do,the more I find that organized religion is not for me so I take what seems right, disregard the rest and go my own way.
