i just read the newspaper this morning and found that scientist predict that more scarry climate situations is about to happen this year and it will be the hottest year ever. i just want to know whethe its true or not. and if it is, we need to act fast.

Certain gases don't let the heat escape from the Earth's surface. It's like putting on an extra blanket or an extra sweater. If you put on a sweater, the sweater does not actually make any heat. It just makes it so that the heat from your body does not escape as easily.
Millions of tons of crap DAILY into the atmosphere is nothing to sneeze at. Pun intended.
We are screwing ourselves over for a buck.
Shooting ourselves in the herd.
Stepping on our own ducks.
Cutting off our nose to spite our finch.
Kicking ourselves in the asparagus beetle.
For the almighty dollar we're ruining it for everybody and everything, and people who deny it are three fries short of a Happy Meal.

Many such newspaper articles need to be read with a pinch of salt. A couple of months ago the media were telling us that this winter was going to be one of the worst on record, so far it's been one of the mildest (in the UK).
Can't comment on the specific article as I don't know the sources they've based the article on. However, it is true to say that the world is at the warmest it's been for a very long time and 11 of the hottest years on record have been in the last 12 years. On that basis it's a fair prediction that this summer will be hotter than normal.
There are far too many factors to accurately predict weather more than a few days in advance so it's a bit premature to say this year will be the hottest ever. It's likely to be hotter than normal but we'll have to wait and see by just how much.

Of course its true. We have to act now we have to get others to become active against global warming. We all and I mean everyone on the planet has to understand (even terrorists) That this is the the most important thing we must concern ourselves with. The world is changing faster than we realize and we must hope that the ignorant will not survive. That doesn't mean we want people to die, we just want ignorant and backward thinking to die.

Sadly its true. We have caused so much global warming that the winters are freezing (Have you looked at central united states)Yesterday where i live it was in the negatives, and from what i can tell the colder the winter the hotter the summer. Have you noticed how every year it gets hotter and hotter then reeaaally cold? then it repeats and it isnt going to stop untill we make it stop

Where I live we currently have one of the warmest winters ever.
Lightning storms in the middle of winter in the middle of europe are a bad sign.
