If it is a Science, why would anyone post the Science of Evolution in the R&S category?
Secondly, Yahoo Q&A does not recognize it as a category. (It is not listed in either category in Social Science or Science and Mathematics.)
So what is the category of Evolution if it is not recognized as a Science?
(Either way I lose on this, no matter how sincere I write it. It and I are bound to being “blasted” with unimaginable amounts of Logic and Intelligence beyond all imagination.)

Ahh! I have been enlightened. Not by my understanding though. I can see the Theory of Evolution in my own life. ie. {I have 2 disabilities in my genome makeup. One is definitely tied to DNA, the other is learning, more specifically comprehension.} Both of which have been overcome, but not by Medical Science. Even though to me I still consider it a miracle. Evolution can be boiled down to this: “It is progression or digression that is never ending. It has no finality.” So with that being said, ‘The argument’ that is really at stake here is the battle between “The Origin of Life” relative to “The Meaning of Life.”
I am a Christian and I know that I know nothing. I see myself as a grain of sand on the seashore compared to the Great Vastness. I do however believe in the existence of “create.” This is my choice. Hopefully for some it may become your choice also.

EDIT:
"digression should be regression"
Evolution can be boiled down to this: “It is progression or regression that is never ending. It has no finality.”

Evolution is a fact described by the theory of natural selection and is a part of the science of Biology.

Well first off, evolution is such a broad topic...if you were to specify which type of evolution you're looking at then this question would be easier to answer. Ok so lets start of with the basic, if you're talking about Cosmic Evolution (big bang theory) then hmm...a bunch of swirling dust gets compressed and suddenly explodes for no reason creating all things. Let me ask you, where did this dust come from again? Scientists answer "We don't know." Then they might throw out a "Where did God come from?" And the answer to that question is that we don't know either. This is why it's a religion, a belief system. Evolution is exactly the same...a belief system...and they teach this in schools?? Well anyways, lets talk about stellar/chemical/planetary evolution. After the big bang, a bunch of stars and planets formed. The stars (using nuclear fusion) produce all the elements we have today. But wait, if hydrogen is used for nuclear fusion, then how do we get uranium? Nuclear fusion can only fuse up to the element iron so how do we get the others? Did the magic dust just spew them up too? Alright, so on to organic evolution. We came from soup. Yup, soup. Did the early organisms emerge from this random soup like mud-men or what? This theory proved wrong by the 2nd law of thermodynamics. Now...macro-evolution. We all have common ancestry and blah blah and there was 1 organism that started all this. Hmm, well i do believe dogs and wolves have a common ancestor yes, but a dog and a carrot? I'm not so sure. None of these theories have been observed. So then, how can they be tested? Science is an explanation relying on observations, experiments, etc. Ok and the final one, micro-evolution. This one states that small adaptations can develop but is limited so that a frog cannot turn into a bird. I believe this is science because I am a guitarist, and I developed callouse on my fingers as an adaptation to the guitar strings correct. This is the only branch of evolution that is science, but it is contradictory to all the others. Universe. Derived from 2 greek terms. Uni- means 1. Verse- mean a spoken sentence. We live in 1 spoken sentence my friends. And God said "LET THEIR BE LIGHT." 1 spoken sentence. Big bang...God said "bang" and it was there.

Actually, you are correct, as both are theories, because neither can be proven. However, if you are a religious person, then you probably do not agree that Creationism is a theory, and if you are a scientist then you may think that Evolutionism is more fact than theory. When I was in high school and college, I was also taught that Evolutionism is correct, but I was taught in church that Creationism is correct. I wrestled with this for many years. I could see truths and inconsistencies with both, but felt pressured to believe one or the other. Creationism basically states that a higher intelligence, "God" if you will or some other higher being, set the universe in motion and controls it's movement and function. Evolutionism basically states that the universe today is a result of a long series of events, beginning with the first event, the "big bang", and then one event affects the next. Small changes along the way modify the path of history. The fundamental problem that I have with both theories is this: "What came before?" With Creationism, who or what created the Creator? With Evolutionism, what or who caused the Big Bang? In the end, you have to decide for yourself what you believe, simply because mankind is not as smart as it collectively thinks that it is, and simply does not have enough information to decide either way. The answers are out there, but we do not have them all. For myself, I'm content with just not knowing, until I have the solid evidence to prove one theory over the other. All my life, the sun has risen every day, and set every night - time marches on. I don't really like to think of things as "right" or "wrong", not even "good" or "bad", but as positive or negative choices. You can make both kinds of choices, and they affect both you and those around you. You can choose to influence positively, or influence negatively. In my opinion, this affects our day-to-day lives more than anything, and would be true no matter which theory you believed. That's good enough for me. :-) Hope I helped. Live well, my friend.

Evolution is not a science; it is a theory. Evolution is widely accepted to be true; it forms a part of biology. The reason why evolution appears in the religion & spirituality section so often, is because some religious creationists believe it is false. Instead it should be situated in the section Biology.
Quantum physics doesn't appear in the sections either; that doesn't mean it isn't science.
You said "I am a Christian and I know that I know nothing."
So, you don't know your 'God' exists?

Evolution is science, but the religious fringe would deny it. They get torn to shreds posting in Biology. Numerous subdisciplines of Biology do not have their own categories.

Evolution is most certainly a science. It is considered a Biological Science and is studied in nearly every university around the world.
Also, please look up the word theory in the context of a scientific definition, you will find something other than what was expected.

It's a branch of biology obviously. The question is absurd-it's like asking why isn't there a category specifically for discussing gravity and saying because there isn't gravity can't be science.

I hope you're not saying it's up to Yahoo! Answers to determine what is, and what isn't, a science? And sorry for using logic and intelligence on you like this... feel free to suggest another way to respond to your question.
