(Matthew 4:10) Jesus said to him: “...‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.’”

(Luke 4:8) Jesus said to him: “It is written, ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.’”

(Joshua 24:14) And now fear Jehovah and serve him in faultlessness and in truth, and remove the gods that your forefathers served

(Revelation 22:8,9) Well, I John..., I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel that had been showing me these things. But he tells me: “Be careful! Do not do that! All I am is a fellow slave of you and of your brothers who are prophets and of those who are observing the words of this scroll. Worship God.”

(John 4:23) Nevertheless, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the true worshipers will worship the Father

(Deuteronomy 5:9) You must not bow down to them or be led to serve them, because I Jehovah your God am a God exacting exclusive devotion

Yes. Why do you put (Jehovah) in parentheses. Jehovah comes from the Hebrew YHWH and is usually translated as LORD. God is usually El, Eloh or Elohim, which is etymologically linked to the Arabic word Allah.

In English, the word "God" should be used.

Kings 18 - pay attention...see who remains, more than one god, a god and goddess!

18 "I have not made trouble for Israel," Elijah replied. "But you and your father's family have. You have abandoned the LORD's commands and have followed the Baals. 19 Now summon the people from all over Israel to meet me on Mount Carmel. And bring the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal and the four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat at Jezebel's table."

20 So Ahab sent word throughout all Israel and assembled the prophets on Mount Carmel. 21 Elijah went before the people and said, "How long will you waver between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him."
But the people said nothing.

22 Then Elijah said to them, "I am the only one of the LORD's prophets left, but Baal has four hundred and fifty prophets. 23 Get two bulls for us. Let them choose one for themselves, and let them cut it into pieces and put it on the wood but not set fire to it. I will prepare the other bull and put it on the wood but not set fire to it. 24 Then you call on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of the LORD. The god who answers by fire—he is God."
Then all the people said, "What you say is good."

.... 'the LORD' answers (battle of male gods Baal and Jehovah for Ashera)

39 When all the people saw this, they fell prostrate and cried, "The LORD -he is God! The LORD -he is God!"

40 Then Elijah commanded them, "Seize the prophets of Baal. Don't let anyone get away!" They seized them, and Elijah had them brought down to the Kishon Valley and slaughtered there.

besides the thou shalt not kill and the obvious slaughtering story, the prophets of Asherah are not killed, but remain

Jehovah supposedly becomes predominant over Baal but remains

Wow. I am not even a Christian and I know this one.

Commandment NUMBER ONE!
1. Thou shalt have NO OTHER GODS before me.

They are not saying other gods don't exist, however, you WILL NOT be allowed to acknowledge nor worship them. Period.
