I'm dating this guy named Cris and my friend Allison will not give us a moment of peace!!! She hates him and is trying to hook me up with this other guy... I don't even get to talk to Cris I'm so busy trying to save my butt... I don't really want to go on a date with Cris yet because I don't know him that good. HELP!!

Ask your friend to take a little time-out. Explain to her firmly,that you are interested in Chris,and would like to have some time, to see how it goes with Chris. Tell her, that if she was in your situation, you would not pressure her. If she appreciates you as a friend, then maybe she will understand your reasoning. Ask her to tell you why she dislikes Chris so much? Also, ask her to give Chris a chance, she might find out that he is a good guy. Tell Allison you appreciate her opinion, but tell her you need to be the one making the decision. If she can't respect your wishes, Allison might not be such a good friend.

Well if your friend allison doesn't want u to be happy w/ this chris fellow than she is not your real friend, your real friends r the ones who love to see you happy. and as for the date thing just tell him how u feel about going out on a date with him if he is a resonable guy he will understand how you feel and give u some time to get to know him better

I have to agree witht he others, how can you be dating him if you aren't dating him???? How are you ever gonna get to know Cris if you don't go out with him?

just tell ur friend that u like cris and if she is a true friend she'll leave u alone just tell her how u feel and aboutcris if u like him try talking to him more and in time u'll get to kno one another and if u guys go on a date then u'll be ALONE without allison and then maybe u could get to nko each other

If your friend is trying to hook you up with someone else, and she 'hates' your boyfriend, maybe she wants you to hook up with someone else so she can have your soon to be ex??!!! If she's trying that bull on you, she's obviously not your friend, and you should drop her in your 'TRASH' bin on your friend list!!! And don't go anywhere with the guy if your not comfortable. Tell him you want to get to know him more, before you go anywhere!!!
