Go for something pale like magnolia or a white with a hint of (apricot, orange, peach) then lift the orange of the floor with a few accessories like pictures or cushions that have orange in them, and perhaps a little chocolate or coffee.
By the way, I don't mean to physically lift the carpet up.

Brown, or a dark tan color. It will tone down the orange carpet and be off set by the white furniture. I hope this helps, it was a little difficult to decipher your question with all of the slang.

Brown and orange is very 1930s. Failing that with an orange carpet I would stick with a natural paint. Nothing too loud!

Depending on what you are into. Neutrals will go with orange. For the WOW effect there's lime green, royal blue etc. Have you thought about painting the white furniture? Can look brill!!!

Peach or Orange Sherbet, as long as it's lighter than your carpet, would be really cute!!!
