It's an odd story. I find it amusing that the man tries to help the geese. I thought we atheists were supposed to be all evil and have no love in our hearts. Seems like they could have found another way to make the story work without the man wanting to help the geese. I mean really, what kind of atheist helps animals??? *eye roll* And no, it's not compelling at all. I have more problems with Christianity (and the idea of any god in general) than just Jesus.

Praying would waste time better spent calling the fire department. Practicality would ensure you have a plan already in place to get out of a burning house.

A christian or athiest would do better to call the fire department. If you have any beer in the fridge, get that out, you might want a sip after.

You are friends with a bunch of Christians, Muslims, etc... I think even if you do not pray people are already praying for ya :)
