I actually do know of an at home treatment for blackheads. Chop up a bunch of parsley and spread it over your blackheads. Then fill a large bowl with boiling water, drape a towel over your head and make a steam tent. Go under for no more then 10 minutes. Then just rinse the parsley off and splash your face with cold water and PAT dry.

For blackheads: Mini weekly or bi-weekly facials.
5 mins. with face over steamed water will open pores and cause blackheads to slip out easier.
Also a clay mask. While drying the mask pulls the impurities out.

For blackheads you can't beat TCP, but do it on a night and then shower before you go out or you will smell like a hospital.

As for your hair it depends on hair type. Citrus is good for greasy hair, bananas, avocados, or nut oils are good if it is dry. To make it shiny beer is the way to go.

Good Luck!

While most people would not think of it, bar soap (some plain type) is great for washing you hair -- just be sure to use a good conditioner afterwards and you will notice an immediate new sheen to your hair.

BOIL A POT OF WATER - NOT A COPPER BOTTOMED PANS (IT "SPITS") AND AS IT STREAMS, HOLD YOUR FACE OVER IT, 5 TO10 MINUTES, HAVE A DAMP PAPER TOWEL TO WIPE OFF YOUR FACE AS YOU BEGIN TO SWEAT. IT OPENS UP THE PORES. DO THIS AS OFTEN AS YOU WANT. IT ALSO MOISTURIZES. DON'T WEAR MAKE UP WHEN YOUR DOING IT THOUGH, IT WILL CAUSE YOUR FACE TO BREAK OUT!!!!!
