know this sounds really stupid, but trust me, it works. Take diaper rash cream, like Desitin, and before you go to bed, spread it on your face like a mask. When you get up in the morning, wash your face and after a few days, you should see some results, if you don't see some that first day.

I'm in my 30's and finally got rid of acne taking a prescribed pill . If you've tried everything like creams, benzoil peroxide, facials, peelings and it keeps coming back ask your dermatologist about using Isotretinoin to treat your skin problem. Your doctor will ask for some lab tests to see how your health is. The treatment is a little expensive but it's worthy! I spent a fortune in creams, antibiotics....you name it! Thanks to my last treatment I look like I didn't when I was a teen and even younger. Don't wait too long to make a decision. Acne nodular lesions leave the skins with scars. I hope Isotretinoin is right for you. It's been two years and I haven't seen acne on my face ever.

TOMATO JUICE :
Normally, pimples and acne are associated with an oily skin. In case these occur on a dry skin then this is the ideal treatment. Take a few tomatoes and puree them. Freeze the puree into cubes (in an ice cube tray). Store these frozen tomato ice cubes in a bag or a container in the freezer. During the day, apply one cube each on either cheek, all the time rubbing gently. Repeat the treatment everyday. A very effective way of getting rid of pimples. If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symptoms and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.
Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

Try to drink at least eight glasses of water a day. This will keep your system flush of most impuretants that can show up on your skin. Wash your face with an oil free soap, (Nuetrgena is good) and try to stay away from caffeine in such things like carbonated beverages and chocolate.

If you go on BirthConrol Pills that solves it ...but most likely you don't want that ....Acne comes from out of balanced hormones ...Birth Control Pills regulate your Hormones ...which makes your acne dissapear.
For a little help try Vitamin E, otherwise I'd suggest Proactive.
Best of Luck!

After washing my face, I apply a light layer of benzoyl peroxide and then moisturize. It helps dry up the acne.
