A McDonald's in Chicago is having a gospel music choir sing on Sundays.

What do y'all think? I think it's sort of inflicting one's faith onto customers, but then again, all kinds of people disagree with all kinds of background music and entertainment at restaurants, and it's not like another McDonald's is hard to find.

I don't think its pushing someones faith on customers...if they don't want to hear it, then don't go in...there are other micky d's around. besides...I think its nice that they do that.. it's better than hearing nelly rapping about "pimp juice", or 50 cent and his "magic stick" THAT is something I find offensive. not gospel.

I wish them lots of luck. I am sure that they will be forced to stop (probably by their own management).

Of course if an independent restaurant had done this it might be a good gimmick to bring in customers.

I frequent a pub that lets a group of Celtic musicians jam and goof off on slow business Thursdays. Several other customers come in on that day only.
I, also, know of a Pizza Hut that lets an all banjo orchestra practice on Tuesdays. It draws more business than they would normally get.

Yikes, religion and burgers. Though that would only be in a state like Georgia where Baptist run the show.
