my older brother's feet are very sore. how can i help?

It depends on what's wrong with his feet.

Does he have cracks and sores in the spaces between his toes? If so, he might have athlete's foot.

Does he have heel pain while walking, that's especially bad when he wakes up in the morning? If so, he might have plantar fasciitis.

Does he have a bump on to or next to his big toe? If so, he might have a bunion.

I'd suggest telling him to go see your family doctor who can tell him what the problem is - he may refer him to a podiatrist (foot doctor).

In the meantime, soaking his feet in a basin of epsom salts and warm water might help.

Soak them in very, very warm water with bath salts (if you have them). Another option is to take some sort ot lotion or balm and massage the feet.

Hot showers or Hot foot baths always does the trick for me

try soaking them in hot water. elevate them a little bit. give him a foot rub.
