My cat is almost 3 years old. He doesn't really like toys....only feathers! He is an indoor cat. What I wanted to ask is, does anyone know of anything I can like make.....with feathers...or like of games I can play with my cat? I really would like to have more fun and spend more quality time with him! Thank you!

I've seen toys at the pet and grocery stores that are basically brightly colored wands with feathers at the end. You can wiggle and wave it in front of your kitty.

A laser light or flashlight waved crazily or slowly over the floor and walls usually gets a cat's attention as well.

I would also recommend buying him a live catnip plant. You can usually find those at Petco and Petsmart. In my area they keep them up at the checkstands. My 17 year old cat is not playful anymore, but she enjoys licking, eating, and rubbing on the catnip. Pinch off a little piece for him and crush it between your fingers to release the oils.

Brushing your cat is another good way to spend time with him. He'll love it, and he will shed less and have fewer hairballs.

Good luck to you, and I hope this helps!

Hello,

Our cats love feathers too. We tied a feather to the end of a shoelace & they love playing with it as they can chase, Jump & pounce.

If your cat may enjoy hunting games. Try putting little treats or a few pieces of dried food in the inside of an old loo roll, then hiding it behind the sofa, under the bookcase, behind your cat's bed etc.

There's nothing our cats like better than an old box with some cat sized holes cut into the sides. They sleep in it & on top of it - run through it & hide in it.

Have fun.x

My cats steer away from any action that pertains to housecleaning, enormously the vacuum air purifier. they at the instant are not too undesirable with extra passive cleansing aids which contain dirt mops, yet those that rev up the RPMs, forget approximately it!
