im in football and i dont like pasta all that much(wierd i know) but ive heard its good to eat it the night before a game.so what can i eat that would give me the energy without the pasta?

That sounds like a myth to me. When I was a kid, it was red meat. A substitute for spaghetti? How about spaghetti squash?

That's a myth. The coach probably wants you to have a high carb meal. Rice, especially brown rice, is a good substitute.

Anything with whole grains in it...bread, muffins, cereal stuff like that. Stuff in the lower part of the food pyramid. Good luck on your game, and i hope you find what you're looking for! =)

well rice is good. what he wants is for ya'll to have high carbohidrates. so i'd say rice and bread are good ones. pizza's kinda in the range. kinda
