Back-masking is the reverse sound waves that produce subliminal messages through music.

Examples: Jay-Z, a song played backwards says "Six Six Six, Murder Jesus"

Queen, "Another One Bites the Dust", backwards: "It's fun to smoke marijuana"

Led Zeppelin, "Stairway to Heaven": (this one is REALLY elaborate): "Oh here's to my sweet Satan. The one whose little path would make me sad, whose power is Satan. He'll give those with him 666, there was a little toolshed where he made us suffer. Sad Satan"

The Pokémon Rap: "I love Satan, I love Satan, I love Satan, I love Satan"

The Doors, "Break on Through": "I am Satan"

This stuff is scary.

Look on youtube for "The truth behind hip-hop Jay-Z" too.

If you are really into this particular conspiracy theory I encourage you to buy a DJ CD player with reverse play function.
Or a DJ turntable with reverse if you are listening to records.

An interesting thing is it's just as easy to find Satanic messages in Gospel music & Christian music. Even easier if you're comparing it to Hard Rock music, since Christian music tends to be more vocally oriented than Hard Rock.

Try doing it with 78s from the 1920s & 1930s, and you will get the same results.

Even better yet, record yourself reading the Bible, or just talking about anything & listen to it backward. This will give you the best results at finding Satanic messages, since there is no music to clutter the words.

You can use this against famous people who's views you disagree with. Just record the audio from them talking on TV or radio & play it backwoods. Edit out all the garble & keep the words, or messages that smear them. Than play them forward & backward.

You guys are retards if you believe this ****. There is a lot of proof that Jay-Z isn't the devil and does not hate Jesus.

This video is stupid for several reasons:
1) First off, he calls himself "Jay-Hova" in reference to being the God of hiphop, not God himself.
2) He is often seen wearing a cross on his chest, such as on the cover of some of his albums (Vol. 3 - The Life and Times of Shawn Carter, for example) and in some of his videos ("Lost Ones", look it up on Youtube).
3) In the song "Lucifer", he makes several references proving he believes in God, and isn't the devil as this ignorant man says. Examples of lyrics:
"Lord forgive him, he got them dark forces in him".
"Hope you been readin your psalms and chapters, Payin your ties being good Catholics".
4) He's clearly against the devil.. The chorus of "Lucifer" says:
"Lucifer, dawn of de morning, I'm gonna chase you out of Earth".
Later in the song he also says:
"Man I gotta get my soul right, I gotta get these Devils out my life"
5) The story behind this track is not as simple as The Truth Behind Hip Hop makes out. Underground DJ Danger Mouse mixed an a cappella version of Jay-Z's The Black Album with the Beatles' The White Album to make The Grey Album. If you play the track Interlude normally it makes no sense; however, when played backwards it includes the lyrics "666..., Murder, Murder, Jesus". The track was made to be played backwards, and DJ Danger Mouse simply samples Jay-Z's voice and edits it to make him say what he wants. The album is not made or endorsed by Jay-Z, yet Lewis does not make this clear.

If that's not enough for you guys to understand how fake this man is, just trying to sell you his DVD, then I don't know what is.

Why worry about backmasking? What about that scares you? First of all, you can't hear crap in those songs played backwards, but if you're trying to hear it, you will. Secondly, well the thought that playing something backwards sends a message is just dumb. No one plays it backwards so it won't send "subliminal messages". The only ones who play it backwards are those looking to somehow damage the artist.

Now I'm off to listen to Zombie. "Jesus lived his life in a cheap hotel off the edge of route 66 yeahhh!" It says that going frontwards too...wonder what it says backwards?!? *gasp* lol

Sorry I don't buy into conspiracy theories nor do I believe in Satan. Music is just music.. you get out of it what you wish to see in it. If you expect to see darkness that is what you will find, if you expect beauty same thing applies.

I have all of those albums some on vinyl even. I have never heard anything such as what you describe and nor would I be bored enough to go looking for it.

I think they're putting this stuff in there just for the notoriety now.
Simply to get people talking. I don't believe anything heard backwards is going to have any effect on a person-reason being , we listen to things FORWARD, otherwise it is unintelligible.
People generally don't play their music backwards anyway.

Is it just me or do their backwards dictation leave a lot to be desired? It's nice to know that when you're in the mood for some entertainment, the religious wackos are there for you.

Since when does Marijuana have a correlation with Satan?

It's crap, and it's been proven to be crap. Although christians are highly in favor of it, because it would allow them to justify censoring any music they didn't like. I imagine we could find all sorts of "satanic messages" in Christian music too, if we looked hard enough.

Never bothered to listen.

No opinion.

Kind of like finding bad things in the Satanic Bible....not too exciting of revealing.
