Can friends with benefits make love to eachother?

Tell me what is the difference and how do you know if you ARE making love to that person and he to you.

"Making love" is really more accurately called "Expressing love." It involves two people who are mature, committed, and who have a loving, caring relationship. These people express their love with sexual intercourse -- it's not about the sex (the physical), it's more about the relationship (the emotional).
"Casual intercourse" is when these elements aren't there.

Here is how I see it. The person you are having sex with is how you decide which brand of sex you are having. If it is someone you just met and it wasn't difficult to get them naked, then it is casual sex. On the other hand, if there is a strong emotional bond between you and the person you are having intercourse with and there is more than just the physical action going on like a lot of kissing, slowly exploring every bit of their body, and feeling very insinct with no real hurry to climax, this sounds like love making.

If you have to ask what the difference is you've never made love. Friends with benefits never make love they're just getting their rocks off. Love making is an expression of your feelings for the one you love. There's more than physical gratification. It's a melding of emotion and physical pleasure. Once you've truly made love you'll never be able to settle for plain old sex again. Trust me I know.

You can't make love, it occurs when two people have strong feelings for each other. There is nothing casual about intercourse.

Making love is when your lover is more interested in pleasing you than getting pleasure himself, and he stays to hold and talk with you afterwards. Casual intercourse is more selfish with each after their own pleasure, and the man is in a hurry to leave after you are finished because he doesn't care enough to want to talk to you.

Love making comes automatically if one loves his friend or wife genuinely. That is an essential prelude in good and satisfying sex. That should lead to an enjoyable orgasm to both.

Just sex is equalent to masturbation that is releasing for the sake of releasing.

If he stays in bed and hugs and kisses you after sex, you were making love. If he gets up and gets dressed, it was just casual sex.

God intends the highest expression of sex to be in Christian marriage. Animals are promiscuous. People, created by God are called to a deeper fuller relationship with Him. This answer may not win points, but it is the truth.

When you make love its not just the physical...
That's why it's called MAKING LOVE
You make love to them with your heart.
And plus it is more passionate when you make love than just sex.
