Well first off, its not child molestation. It'd be more of statutory rape. The age of consent is 17 in illinois, so he did not break any law. You cannot press charges on him for that. However if he gave you alcohol, drugs, etc, you could possibly press charges against him for contributing to the delinquency of
a minor. The charge would probably be dropped with a good lawyer, and then you'd just look like a fool. The best thing to do is go on your merry way, with lessons learned.

The age of consent in most states is 16. If he is threatening you then you do need to go to the police however making up charges of rape or molestation will not help your cause at all. If in fact, this did go on - then yes that needs to be reported as well. However by your own admission - you are motivated by revenge here - be very careful what you do here because it could lead to you being chared with a crime as well if you lie about what has happened in your "relationship" with this man.

If the charges are real, yes you can, but if you are just looking for revenge, it will turn around and kick you in the butt. If he has made threats, if the threats a re severe like he says he will kill you or other things that might injure you physically, a restraining order can be placed on him. But don't go after him in revenge, emotions are high due to the break-up. if you feel threatened, then by all means, go for it

In most states the age of consent is 16 or so. I doubt you could get Molestation. You might could try for statuatory rape. Get a lawyer as has been suggested. Better than that would be to get a restraining order and just stay away from him.

Maybe not child molestation but you could probably get him on statchetory rape depending on your states laws. but here's the thing you chose to have sex with him and the law usually protects up to 5 years after the first incident( at least in my state, check for yours since every state is different). it is a pretty bitchy thing to do to him since you agree'd to have sex in the first place but i can get the revenge deal. if he keeps harassing you just go get a restraining order, record obscene phone calls he does towards you, ect. call up a police officer to figure out your situation to the best advantage, that's what my friend did and her ex got into some serious sh*t for stalking!

If he's threatening you with bodily harm then you should report it to the police. Even though I find it sick that a 32 year old would want to be with a 17 year old, it's not right to try to put him in jail over something you were in agreement to and only because he pissed you off.

You can try. It is called statutory rape. Someone over the age of 18 having sex with someone under the age of 18 is considered statutory rape, even if the underage person gave consent.

You are thinking about commiting a crime. Statuatory rape isn't molestion and 17 is over the age of consent in many states. Leave him alone and stick to guys your own age. learn better grammar and spelling.

you have issues....if there was child molestation going on and you knew about it your just as guilty for not reporting it. If your talking about yourself then there are other laws to handle those situations. Molestation is not the same as having sex or living with an underaged partner.

Sure, if he molested you. But if he was your boyfriend, why not just get a restraining order? Be sure to check the age for consensual sex in your state...
