I didn't mention skin color in my question. I am referring to illegal immigration from all over the world!

Nothing. No matter what their skin color, if someone enters our country - or any country, for that matter - without following the required legal steps, they are an illegal immigrant. Period.

Race has nothing to do with it, and anyone who thinks otherwise is "misinformed."

There are over 7 billion people in the world. Currently 2.5 billion or more would move to the US instantly if given the chance most poor or from poor countries. The US has roughly 320+ million people in it right now. Of course we can't just accept every person who would want to enter so there are limitations set aiming not be flooded instantly. Also at any given time the US has pending 30+ million visa/immigrant applications. This means that the large majority won't ever get to the US because the US can't handle those people so the majority who apply are put in long waiting lists and many denied as well. The US currently accepts 1.2 million LEGAL immigrants every year which is more then ALL other developed countries combined. This number is also greater then the current US job growth at any given year in the last 10 years. However many don't want to accept the no or believe they should get special privledges because they are a neighboring country or just simply don't respect another country. The US currently gets about 1.4 million illegal aliens every year which has been steady despite the current Admins claims over the last 8 years. There are another 350-400k babies born every year to illegal aliens and birth tourism (majority to illegal aliens). This means 3 million new people in the US every year while currently the US doesn't create enough new jobs for 800-900k (don't forget Americans needing jobs as well and graduating college). Now the purpose on the illegal alien side is as many say a better future. However the better future isn't about jobs for the most part but the large amounts of freebies such as free education for children, welfare, medicaid, free ER treatment (as they demand care and never pay), so forth and so forth. Now the purpose on the political side is this illegal alien group tends to be unskilled and more so uneducated along with the majority of the kids they have ending up educated. This means people easy to manipulate through handouts like welfare. Put them on the Public Dole and they will vote for you for life even if they can't legally vote. Keep in mind the Dem side has been doing everything they can to stop Voter ID laws and proof of citizenship to register to vote as this would keep their illegal voters out of the voting booths. So its all about votes as the American People are seeing as of now the Dem side is far worse currently then the Rep side. The Rep side mostly got a wake up with the forming of the Tea Party and losing a lot of voters to independant. However the Dem side won't change its goals to suit the people and find it easier to just import a new majority.

What about ILLEGAL is it so hard to understand? There is no such thing as an "illegal immigrant" because immigrants come here LEGALLY. Illegal aliens are criminals because they are breaking our laws, sponging off the taxpayer, DEMANDING rights they don't have, hurting our school since teachers have to spend more time with the non-English speaking kids, destroy our ERs since they can't afford to stay open any longer, etc....

Now was anything I said "racists?" No! Every FACT I mention had to do with the ILLEGAL ALIEN CRIMINAL. I don't care if they are white, brown, black, or purple. If they are ILLEGAL they shouldn't be here.

To "confused" -- you are confused. You said that it is hard not to have sympathy for the illegals. Sorry, I have no sympathy for someone that breaks our laws. They should be deported and/or jailed. Employers who hire these criminals should be jailed. Sorry, no sympathy here! And that's not a racist comment!!!

that is how all the bleeding hearts out there like to play.i dont consider anyone who is aganst illegal immigration a racist, hell i am against it.
illegal immigration has nothing to do with race,it has everything to do with "if u are not here legally, get the freak out"
i have had questions and answers removed from here because it was reported that i was being racist.i believe everyone has a right to say what they want, but just say it the right way and quit using the race card.that is a cheap and stupid way to try and get a point accross.
if someone is a Mexican and here legally that is fine with me,i have alot of mexican friends.if someone is Irish and illegal, get out.it has nothing to do with race.

trust me,i feel ur pain

There is NOTHING racist about it. Those who want to claim it is a racist thing are those who want to support ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION but cannot find a legitimate way to do so. These are the same individuals who want to claim that the Border Patrol Agents are racist, when 90% of them are Hispanic. Last year more than 140 different nationalities where apprehended and deported by the U.S. Border Patrol.

Good question. The illegals are looking for any reason they can find to take away from the fact that they are here ILLEGALLY. I am not a hater but AM tired of working very hard for them to live the good life.

I don't think there's nothing racist if you are in fact concerned about illegal inmigration only and not because you are not open to expose yourself to all the great and diverse cultures. I myself can say am concerned about the fact that a quarter of my country's populations are people from another country, not all countries just one, and most of them live here illegally, that comes with a price, countries should not close their borders to keep foreigners from entering, but there should also be options for people to fulfill their dreams where ever they thing they are gonna be able to do so. I think we should all embrace diversity but have things planned and a way to do that is avoiding illegal inmigrations in a way that you are not destroying peoples dreams, goals or mere needs.

Because that is the only excuse (lame excuse that is) that illegals can come up with when someone is against illegal immigration. Illegals have no justifiable reason for being in the US so they try to play the race card to get support from others!

I don't think it is a racist question. I believe that immigrants should come into this country legally also. Many illegal immigrants are just wanting a better life for their families and they think once they get here it will be a promised land. When they get here they find out what a struggle it is. But because they all are here illegally they pull from our already strained resources, school system, welfare, free health care, babies are born here, they have auto accidents and have no insurance, they cause rent to rise to unbelievable rates because landlords will rent a 1 bed room apt to 4 families for a ridiculous amount of money thus raising the bar for 1 bedrooms so that a person can't afford to live in his own country. Insurance on health is outrageous. But they are humans and I feel for them just want them to stay home.

Nothing.

But, why is it "illegal," since the ones who made the "laws" actually stole this land?

If a thief steals someone's house, and later on the relatives of the original owners want to kick the thief out, and the thief has written and signed a property deed, that doesn't make the property legally his, right?

Nothing. Unless a racist is hiding behind the illegal imigration flag to cover up their true reasons for being against it.
