for cheap invites. you have to put them together; it's easy. i got the marigold pressed invites with the veluim overlays with envelopes and the rsvp cards with envelopes, hole punch for like 120 for 100 invitations (with shipping) normally they would have been like 400 to 500 dollars. the velium paper can be printed on from your computer and they give tyou the guide lines to cut them up. 4 per sheet.

ikea.com
wine glasses are like 5 6 bucks for a set of 6

i had my flowers (not my bouqet however it was done buy a independent florist) done by the local supermarket. it was only 400 or so for 20 centerpieces, guys flowers (7 groom my dad, and the 5 guys) , maids flowers(5) , mothers' corsages(2), and petals for the flower girls. i would price around because one supermarket was like same price as an independent florist where the same supermarket in another town was the price you see above! be specific and bring any supplies (i had my flowers set in galvanized buckets, for dollartree, wrapped in orange organza ribbon for my autumn harvast themed wedding)

i also hit up the local dollar stores (dollartree was the best) and got candle holders 4 for $1 and i frosted them with glass froster.

sign up for email coupons for local craft stores and purchase any supplies including guestbooks and such for half off sometimes.

i got my cake knife and servers at the lenox outlet nearby. if no outlets check ebay.

have fun planning!

Invitations by Karina website is where I got my invitations at decent price. Big range of prices. AC Moore, Michaels, Dollar stores have decorative stuff. If you're wearing a tiara, DONT buy one at a bridal shop for 80 and up. Go to an Ebay store called Cute_Bride and you can get tiaras with Swarovski crystals for 15-20 bucks.

You're going to laugh, but try ebay. Also, you can check out craft supply stores, depending on how much do-it-yourself-ing you're willing to do. I made my sisters wedding invitations, it's not hard at all (more time consuming), and all you really need is good quality cardstock, vellum paper (if you want), I used a rubber stamp set and embossed their initials (that was time comsuming, but they only had 50 invites), and a good computer printer, and any other embellishments you'd want (ribbon, silk flowers, etc.) Look around at stores like Target and WalMart too for stuff like photo albums. You'll have to get a little creative with your shopping, but it's fun if you have the time. good luck!

There are lots of places you can get deals. Check craft stores - Hobby Lobby does 50% Off Bridal Blow Outs a couple times a year. Also, watch online sales on varying wedding sites.

You should send out the invitations 6 to 8 weeks before the RSVP date Yes you should have a respond date Most books say 2 weeks, give yourself at least 3 week People wait until the last few days to send back the invite Giving yourself a week for late responses is smart, still gives you two weeks to make calls and get a final counts

I have bought stuff from ebay and factory card outlet type stores. I have saved a ton of money. Also for invitations, they have the kits now that you can print out yourself. You pick your own font, ink color, etc. That is what I am going to do personally. We are paying for everything ourselves, so trying to keep the cost down so we can have more spending money on our honeymoon!
