Nurture. All the way. All my cats are the same. My friend who had three of my kittens treats her cats like cats (instead of babies like I do) and her cats are v. boring and cat-like. I prefer our types. xxxxxxxxxx

I dont know I think cats are all crazy. My male thinks he is on a warpath at night and runs through the house with this crazy battle cry and he sleeps on three different pillows that are "his". He is almost three and still acts like a kitten too. My cat talks to the fish in our tank so I guess our cats are just crazy. lol. Well I dont know if it is nurture or nature but whatever it is Cats are weird but you have to love them!

ok first cats are never crazy. second, you have friends why cant he? third, all cats have a place where they feel safe. your pillow is one of them feel loved. fourth, he is a kitten a heart or o smell reminds him of days of yore. fifth, he is not acting like a human he is acting like the MASTER he is over you. last YOU SAID THAT!!!!!!!!

Sounds like Nature to me. This is a question that has been debated and researched in humans for many, many years. The answers are quite equivocal.

they say that pets become like their owners. are you in fact a bit crazy yourself? :) i have a cat just like it, and i think the reason she thinks she's still a kitten is down to her food, as we feed her the science diet and its very good for her. as to the rest of her personality, its a mystery! i woke up once to find she'd fallen asleep on my head! bit of a shock.

Let's admit it, we mere humans will never understand superior species like cats. I think that's part of their fascination. My cats think I am incapable of shredding my papers, (I constantly find torn paper - always something important, of course) catching my own food, (little 'presents' left for me) cleaning myself (they insist on helping & their tongues are ROUGH.) They also constantly re-arrange things in my house. (Sorry, THEIR house.)
I don't understand them, but I love them.
