I'm not a doctor, but I was on H and other things for about 7 years and I knew a lot of people in the same situation. From my experience you should be OK. Now that you really want kids that should be a great help to kick the habit. Please make sure you're really 'clean' and fit first before you get pregnant.
I left the scene a long time ago, and I think having your own children is the greatest thing you can do - but it's a responsibility that doesn't fit in with an addiction. I wish you all the very best for the future, your future and the future of your children.

its great that you want to come off it, and what better goal/incentive than to have children but you would need to give yourself a good period of time off the drugs to avoid a relaspe, especially during pregnancy. If you have periods and managed to get off heroin then after being drug free for a year or two there shouldnt be any problems in having a baby. Goodluck to you and congrats on wanting better for yourself x

before you can even think about having kids you have to get of the drugs.
it would not be fair for the kids to be introduced to a world surrounded by drugs.
if you do come clean the best to wait about 12-18 months.
