Acne is caused by several factors.
YES - Hormones / your period is a one.
The type of skin you have vs the climate. Winter = dry / easily clogs pores with flaking skin cells. summer = sweat / oil production.

Wash you face with a product that works for you / don't over wash it or you will cause your face to produce more oils. Don't sleep in your make- up / use make-up that does not clog your pores, it will help. I use Dove pillows.

Usually when I break out it could be my period or I'm under stress, but it could be a number of other things can contribute to it.

Breaking out could be due to stress, something you ate, the environment. It doesn't always have to do with your period. Just relax, try to drink alot of water.

yes alot of women break out (i get a few zits here and ther b4 mine as well) before thier period. cause your hormones are changing. its not anything bad. its normal

well when women start to break out, that usually means one or two things..............

you have been around something that you have a illergic reaction

or

you are going through purberty

so you just might be going through purberty

It could be that your puberty hormones are kicking in and your cycle isn't far off.
