Yes, I do. It's hard to give a rational explanation for it, but I strongly feel and believe that there is right and wrong, because people can feel pain and happiness and I consider it absurd to think it doesn't matter if people are happy or suffering, this is a basic human feeling and common sense. Atheists generally believe in right and wrong just as religious people do.

I generally subscribe to the Sucular Humanist ethics. I do believe in certain rights and wrongs, but I am aware that they are not entirely absolute. What Americans might consider wrong could easily be right or neutral in, say, Japan or Madagascar.
I do think it is an act of supreme arrogance to claim that anyone has THE authority to determine right and wrong for everyone else. This one of my beefs with authoritarian religions such as the Baptists, the Catholics, and the Calvinists. There is no such thing as "one size fits all" when it comes to morals or honor.

just because someone is an atheist does not make them an uncultured savage...it is known as secular humanism...recognizing the good that exists within ALL people regardless of race creed or religion...I would say that most atheists I have met over the years have a better developed sense of what is right and wrong because they are not blinded by the religious divisions so many others see...

Atheists believe in logic & reason (aka: right & wrong), things that the great Greek Philosophers were discussing and practicing 1,500 years before the Christian Bible was even written. The same pagan greek philosophers that many of the early Christian leaders/philosophers studied as well.

Believing in a deity or religion does not determine whether or not you can tell the difference between right and wrong. Being a human being of sound mind does.

Who said right or wrong has to do with religion. There are a lot of people sitting under that huge white rotunda in Washington DC who make laws that tell us right and wrong.
For most people, right and wrong is common sense. Unfortunately I think at times that is lacking in some people.

You are trying to make a point that our values of right and wrong come from the bible.
The argument is flawed.
Atheists believe a bunch of humans wrote the bible without any sort of divine inspiration. So if the bible guided our morals, then it is actually PEOPLE that guided our morals.
Hence, we believe in right and wrong just like the dudes who wrote the bible. It was all a human concept to begin with.

how many times does this get asked
right and wrong is instinctive
but also learned from parents , peers , school and generally doing what you would like to be done to yourself
being atheist does not make you less moral
in fact if prison statistics are anything to go by , they are more moral than religious people
and yes i am religious
