Canada is an extremely multicultural country! In addition to the cultural diversity, every province in Canada is unique. Each province has its own historical richness. Many people underestimate Canada/Canadians. The stereotypes that are portrayed in popular tv shows are unrealistic. We don't say "eh"...or at least, I don't know anyone that says "eh". Canadians don't wear snow shoes 24/7. The majority of Canadian provinces, with the exception of the territories (Nunavut), have weather that varies. Toronto, for example, has a frigid winter; however, our summer is in most cases fairly hot. Vancouver on the other hand doesn't get as cold as Toronto in the winter. It does get a great deal of precipitation as it is situated on the coast of the Pacific Ocean.

Canada is a beautiful country--and by no means is it "boring!" We have such unique and diverse landscapes, such as the rocky mountains, the Prairie Provinces, and the untouched wilderness of territories (just to name a few).

And if you're not into the natural landscapes, Canada has plenty of places to party. The clubbing scene in Montreal is amazing (the legal drinking age is 18...im pretty sure). Every province has great places to go clubbing, I'm positive....but I won't list them all. Also, there are numerous places to shop throughout Canada. I live in T.O. so I can tell you that the eclectic shops on Queen street, the vintage stores in Kensington, the high-end fashion stores on bloor/Yorkville and the stores along Yonge St. and in the Eatons centre are far from boring. And those are only the places in Downtown.

But if you're not into shopping, there are many places to visit throughout Canada that are breathtaking. The Atlantic Provinces are beautiful and there are many places to visit, like Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia. Also, if you are into the french culture, Quebec is very historical and there are many places (such as Quebec City) that hold a significant amount of French tradition.

I could ramble on and on...but I'll spare you. My point is that Canada is definitely not boring!!

Canada has a lot to offer a tourist. It depends what you like to do. There is extreme sports, amazing museums, a few castles, out door sports, indoor sports, amazing cultural neighbourhoods in certain cities (like little india in Toronto, or china town in Vancouver are both the largest china town and little india in the entire world) . If you want fancy restaurants, really great night life and all the "young people" kinda stuff then go to Montreal. Montreal has AMAZING food, great shopping, gorgeous hotels, night life, cultural stuff and yeah..Montreal is amazing. It's true that the beaches are too cold right now and you won't get a sunburn. Every province and certain cities are completely different from the others in Canada. British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec all have so many fun things to offer tourists, they're just very different. You have to decide what you're looking for out of your vacation and then choose the area of Canada according to what you want. Quebec isn't going to offer any extreme sports, but BC and some parts of Ontario offer more than many places in the world. But Quebec is french! It just depends what you want.

Canada is one of the most incredibly adventurous countries to visit. There are wild unexplored places waiting for you to find them. All the mineral wealth that you ca imagine is hidden there still undiscovered. So Canada is still one of God's most wonderful creations. I went with Freddie Laker for £99 back in the 70's. I stayed in Toronto where the people were very friendly and hospitable.

Canada is a great place to be, people here are great and the cities are much safer. We also have one of the largest oil supplies in the world in the province of Alberta.

Toronto, Quebec City, Vancouver, the Calgary Stampede......Canada's got great people, architecture, ethnic diversity, vacation spots, and natural wonders. There is sooo much of Canada that I want to see......if only someone would offer me a little cabin by a lake....I'd grab my sweetie and hike in the woods.
