i know he just cleaned it so it won't get lost. im really shy. don't want to get stuck in some sort of mess.

umm...well
a. he might not find the email address...lockers tend to be messy
b. he might think wtf is this and just throw it away
c. he might give it to a friend (instead of using it himself)
d. he might talk to you (i thought i'd save the answer you were hoping for, for last lol, so you could see that this might not be such a good idea)

go for it, it sounds fun. but make an alternate email just for him. you see, he'll either ignore it/throw it away/ect, respond and chat with you, or give it/show it to his friends. people can be really messy when it comes to getting the email of a chick of thier friend. you might get joke mail teasing you for liking him, intimidating you, harrasing you, sending you hate mail, junk mail, or writing love letters that are not from him and claiming to be him. i still think it is worth a shot, just be careful and don't tell the person who you are.

either 1) he will know who you are and think you are a crazy stalker or 2) he won't know who you are and completly ignore it...
Just talk to the guy and get to know him a little bit more, don't scare him by doing something like that.
If you don't really know him then get to know him, it will justify that the crush is a good thing and about his personality and not just b/c you think he is cute from afar.
