Humans are pack animals. We have a natural desire to want to love someone. The first stare into your mother's eyes, the protection that you felt, and the warmth of her being near. We don't think of it that way, but when you look into your love's eyes, you feel the love warmth, and caring that you long for. Don't give up on love, because your love is looking for you.

Because, face it, it sucks going to bed alone. It hurts when you get sick and you don't have anyone to baby you. You feel like no one cares. You begin to wonder if there is something wrong with you. My findings have lead me to believe that after divorces we find ourselves very very picky about who we date or even if we will even date at all. I don't consider it a bad thing because we don't want to end up with another Mr. Ex.
I usually go to the worker bars, the roughneck people, for good conversation and a good laugh. Met a few nice guys. Went on a few days and found again... that I am not ready for a relationship although I'd love to be in one.

That fear of being alone. I don't start looking again immediately. I like to take time off from dating all together. Enjoy being single and alone. I get to do what I want, when I want. I also don't want to seek out rebounds, it's not fair for either of us. I start to date again when I feel I'm ready.

The people who do this are too scared at the prospect of making it on their own, even for a little while. The rest of us are happy to be free from the shackles of love.

It's money and your status that you want to be single person but you'll never overcome the call of nature.
