A day where hallmark makes alot of money. An every husband and boyfriend tries to make up for how badly they have treated thier wives/girlfriends with candy and flowers.People should not take each other for granted. Also if someone does not have a valentine, baskin robbins and the liqour stores, make more money. Kleenex cleans up all of the tears that are shed on their way to the bank. A streak of big diamond sales occures the day after valentines, I mean if he's ever going to see it again. Don't let your man weasel his way out of the house to attend a poker party. The fool will lose it all, and show up with the clap. Get the new car down payment prior to his leaving, and don't let him know that every lover you"ve ever had is coming over to see the nice new car your wonderful husband bought you. Remember the rule of control . Never , ever, give a man something he cannot live without. Happy, bleeding, used pacemaker, screaming Valentines Day..

Saint Valentine's Day or Valentine's Day falls on February 14. It is the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other; sending Valentine's cards, candy, or donations to charities, often anonymously. It is very common to present flowers on Valentine's Day. The holiday is named after two men, both Christian martyrs named Valentine. The day became associated with romantic love in the High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished.
The day is most closely associated with the mutual exchange of love notes in the form of "valentines". Modern Valentine symbols include the heart-shaped outline and the figure of the winged Cupid. Since the 19th century, handwritten notes have largely given way to mass-produced greeting cards. The Greeting Card Association estimates that approximately one billion valentines are sent each year worldwide, making the day the second largest card-sending holiday of the year behind Christmas. The association estimates that women purchase approximately 85 percent of all valentines.

A day that we are supposed to love and celebrate the love we have for each other, but shouldn't the people we love know it all the time, not just Feb.14.
