It depends on what egg you are talking about. Most of us eat eggs without any possibility to hatch because eggs we eat don't have any fetus inside.
Eggs are hatch in 28 days of process.
In The Philippines they have an egg called "BALUT" this egg (duck egg) has a full figure of a chick (commonly 15 days old) and a bit soup inside, they boiled it and eat it. It's very nutritious. A couple of years ago i watched one TV program for the most exotic food and BALUT won.

i'm a born veggie. For you that is complicated considering your equipment isn't adjusted. Now, I devour egg and drink milk. i'm no longer a vegan. i don't love killing animals for my nutrition. Farm egg do not hatch so that is superb. Now, animals have considered necessary fearful equipment and they experience soreness. flowers don't have it so no soreness. attempt to be vegetarian gradually. Now, purchase Whey protein powder from Costco and combine with juice to get high quality protein

Yes, because it's disgusting to eat them after they've hatched.

In the Philippines they serve a boiled delicacy on the street called Balut. It is a duck egg that has been allowed to grow for 28 days. Inside is a fully-formed emryo of a duck. It's boiled and then eaten. Those who like them claim that you have to pick the partially formed feathers from your teeth afterwards.

Oh dear, another of your sensible questions.
Personally I always take them out of the shell before I place them under the hen to hatch them out. Unfortunately it always seems to make the hen's bottom a bit of a mess, what with the feathers sticking and that.........

Once the eggs hatch, the chicken comes out and you no longer have an egg

OF COURSE!!!
once the egg comes out of the chicken it can then grow into a chick. We tend to eat these eggs before they have reached this stage. otherwise when you come to frying, boiling, scrammbling and any other you can think of.
A BABY CHICKEN WILL BE INSIDE!!!

You could try it with chickens' eggs, but I wouldn't try it with your own. Would probably save on nappy costs, though.
