I usually hate answers that say "Google it," but in this case, it really is your best bet. After you've done your search, click "Images" at the top and you'll get all of the pictures that fit your search. The link below is the search results for images of fairy tattoos. You can also just search for "fairy" for more images. The second link has a lot of good images.

type in faeries in the Google search bar then click on the images tab above the search bar and search, you should find something you like, print it out and trace it with simple lines and talk to some tattoo artists about their style and if they feel comfortable with the fairy you want. You may want to let them trace it, unless you have a good eye for symmetry etc. **I really like the artwork of Brian Froud and Cicely Mary Barker, they both do beautiful artwork of faeries. (Faery is an English variation of fairy) Also the tattoo artist can suggest something to surround the fairy to accomadate the lower part of your back, such as stars or leaves and vines. If I were you I would get my tat somewhere other than my lower back though, it seems that EVERYONE has a tat on their lower back. GOOD LUCK!

a nice way to do it would be to take a picture book about fairies and such and go through it and look at which pictures you like in there. The artists don't always have to use flash or copy an existing tattoo design....children's books might actually be a good idea...that or books re: fantasy...best of luck

find a fairy clipart picture that you like for a long time, then get a tattoo artist to draw it for you.

go to yahoo images and put in fairys if you can't find that then tattoo shops have enough.
