Peace is not a religion, and the Wahhabi religion doesn't teach peace.
Thanks for the two points, genius.

The attacks that President Bush was referring to were not attacks on Islam but rather on terrorists who claim to be Muslim. These are hardcore fanatics and do not practise Islam in its true spirit, but rather use it as a means to justify their actions. It's a bit like equating the KKK with Christianity. So by the same logic, an attack on the KKK would be an attack on Christianity. Does Christianity preach racial bigotry ? Or any other religion for that matter ?
Islamic scriptures have remained unchanged since 595AD, and therefore much is quoted out of context today. For those who follow the Christian faith know that there are many versions of The Holy Bible, not to mention numerous denominations, each with its own set of values. It is believed that the King James version was written in the 13th Century and the original version in Aramaic is all but lost.
Forced conversations may have taken place 1300 years ago, but that was then. Those who accept Islam today do so whole-heartedly and of their own accord, you cannot impose faith on anyone. To pratice one's religion in its true spirit and not the letter is what separates a moderate from a fanatic. I know there are may doubters out there, but allow me to reiterate that Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance. The media may have you believe otherwise as sensationalism sells and many on this discussion board have fallen victim to that.

We are fighting Al-Qieda in Iraq and the Taliban in Afghanistan. You need to stop listening to Al-Jazera.
