For something different, try Victor's Cuban restaurant. Very nice and goooood food. Also, try the Stage Deli for sandwiches.. For something really different on the East Side, the Il Vagabondo Restaurant with its indoor bocce court.

I love Rue 57 (www.rue57.com) who do a wonderful burger with blue cheese amongst other things, Morell Wine Bar (www.morellwinebar.com) for American and fish and Solera (www.solerany.com) for tapas (they also have a nice restaurant in the back for more formal occasions). Enjoy!
