but in less than book length, I believe in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, and that I should do my best to do their will.

I think I am somewhere between an Agnostic and a Humanist in terms of my religious belief. I don't deny there is a god, but I don't quite believe it, either. If it were proven to me, I might believe it but without that proof I won't be able to have any leaps of faith. What I do believe in is humanity, I believe that we ourselves have control of our own lives, that we ourselves can clean up the mess of this world. I think each person responsible for his/her own actions and we are not part of some greater scheme.
I don't beleive in a divine purpose or destiny, either: life is what we make of it.
Thats the way I see it, but I respect other people's points of views and consider them just a valid as mine.

well myself
I believe in god or a higher being but it is a balance of both female and male god. I believe in mother earth and the powers that be.
yes I am a pagan or a witch what ever you wish to call me. I try to respect all others and believe that no matter what one follows or believes
all gods are one god in the end we all end up in summer-land or heaven when we are through living our life's and learning all we were meant to learn

I believe that as humans evolved, they needed a way to justify their insignificant existance. So they created a number of mythlogies that have morphed into today's religions.
Let's say you went back in time 2000 years and brought your iPod with you. The greatest minds of the time would be unable to explain it and might call it magic or spiritual.
Just because we can't understand complex things like "infinity" doesn't mean we can make up a god so we can sleep better at night. I don't understand half of this world, but I am content in the fact that when I die, that's it for me.

I am not religious. Deities may or may not exist I see no proof to support either side. My beliefs come from common sense, culture and family some of whom are religious.
I believe in humanity; in the person next to me for they are real. I believe that for the most part the human race is good and I put my faith in that.

WOW!!, great Question.
Christian.
Father, Son, Holy Ghost/ Spirit are ONE.
Jesus Christ is God Incarnate.
He died on the cross for us, God Gave up the Throne of Heaven, somehow, to come in the form of a Man, to SHOW US HOW TO WALK, to show THAT EVEN WITH all the Temptations of the world, and of the FLESH, we could get through this world without sin.
However He realized, Just how difficult it is, as HE lived it.
So God the FATHER gave us a way out, a way of redemption, through HIS ONE AND ONLY SON, JESUS CHRIST, who died on the cross to WIPE OUT SIN.
I believe we each are here for a DIVINE PURPOSE, we all have a JOB to do, and I think whether we know it or not, we are all doing our job.
I believe we all have Spiritual Lessons to TEACH, as well as TO LEARN.
I believe I am here to share with others what I know and believe.
And I believe that it is each persons CHOICE, to freely accept JESUS CHRIST as their PERSONAL SAVIOUR.
Jesus Christ is the ONLY WAY into heaven.
BELIEVE ON HIM AND YOU SHALL HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.
Nothing we do as humans, can get us into Heaven.
Neither by our WORKS, nor our DEEDS.
We are like Dust, the most Perfect thing we do compared to GOD is like throwing MUD on a clean White Garment somehow, Maybe Ishould not say it like that, but I did...
So what I mean is, Even our most PERFECT effort, as a human, is NOTHING.
Oh yeah, we do something good, or we try to bring another to God...and we praise ourselves, THAT IS NOT WHAT CHRISTIANITY, or being a Christian is about.
GIVE PRAISE TO GOD.
The Mormons think it is their mundane little works, others think they just ge tto keep doing it over until they get it right...
(oh yes I have often felt like I was here, maybe several times before...but I have to go with my faith and what I believe in my heart, not the MIND, it tends to be full of tricks, the devil wants me to stumble on...)...
DJH
thanks for the question.
it is a good one.

Agnostic. I don't believe in any deities, but i don't rule out the fact that one or more exist. I just find it hard to put my complete faith in something that can't be proven.
