1. people might not think you are serious because you posted in community Service and not in the "parenting and Pregnancy" category
2. Besides babyfood, you can give him applesauce, Mashed potatoes, and other finger foods that he can just mush in his mouth. Let him eat crackers and other hard food by waiting until they go soggy in the mouth
3. maybe his teeth are hurting, try oragel or something for his teeth
nonchewable foods include:
oatmeal, cream of wheat, mashed potatoes, pudding, jello, ice cream, fruit cicles, vienna sausages, applesauce, and such.

Dont force baby to eat if he does not want to. My 1 year old went through the same thing. Just leave a few softer veg items in reach and watch them so they don't choke! When they are hungry they will eat. Babies dont like chilli peppers thats for sure!!!!!! If you tried to putting chilli peppers in my mouth on my undeveloped tastebuds i would disown you as a parent!

He needs to be eating toddler or junior foods, not real table food. Mashed potatoes, ground or pureed meats, vegetables, etc..Ten months is too young for that stuff. Just b/c he has a few teeth doesn't mean he can eat table food.

You feed him chilli peppers? Damn girl .. you want him to be sick ?.. no wonder he cried .... its to harsh on his little system ... maybe if you gave him foods he liked he wouldnt mind chewing it ....he may have 5 teeth but you would do well to keep choppin it in small pieces cause if he doesnt chew it and he chokes and dies you will be sorry ....

Be patient and keep trying. I read in a magazine that a toddler had to try something at least 10 times before they'll figure out weather they like it or not. Talk to you're pediatrician, they always have some clever ideas.
