muslims r ppl who believe there is only 1 God and that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His last messenger. Muslims pray to God (btw, christians, jews and muslims all worship the same god) 5 times a day, they give charity, fast during the month of ramadan and go on pilgrimage to makkah if they can.
About the clothes thing - there r no such things as "muslim clothes". muslims can wear anything they want as long as it is appropriate and not revealing. Their clothes should also be modest

Islam is a vast religion which allows great flexibility and honors different cultures as long as their practises are not harmful or go against Islam.
Muslims encompass a vast number of different races and cultures. Therefore, there are many different types of Muslims who dress and look differently. Islam sets certain moral standards but doesn't restrict people from their individuality.
In Islam you can wear whatever you want as long as it (for women) covers everything except the hands and face, (for men) covers from the knees to navel. It should be modest and loose, and not transparent. Any color or cultural clothing, western or otherwise, is completely fine to wear in Islam.

There is no FORCING in Islam. It is up to the individuals whether to follow strictly to Islam or otherwise. Islam is very particular with Quality than Quantity. If a Muslim who does not follow the way the Muslims should dress, than, it could be the person only a Muslim from a generation but not a pious and Quality Muslims. Islam has a clear and strict instruction for the Muslims to dress the way the pious Muslims dress especially the way the Muslim women should dress. However, the choice is still with the person him / herself to choose how he / she should dress. However, ALLAH Almighty had mentioned in the Quran, who ever exposed his / her body parts ( other than the allowed parts ) to other than his / her parent, wife / husband / Mahram, the fire of hell is more appropriate for the person.

The only restriction we have is to dress modestly. Muslims can wear western clothes if they are modest. Muslims are very diversed and come from every race and color. Why do should anyone expect them to look same? Part of their dressings are related to their culture.

Muslim people are allowed to dress however they want, as long as its not too revealing. But every muslim person i know dresses just like everybody else. Sometimes a bit revealing, too. Like, they wear bathing suits in public and everything. =)
