My Wife and I have seen the TV commercial several times and wonder if it is really worth it. It seems most people only use it for drinks. Is it good for cooking? Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

Here is a review site on that ...you don't want to run them too long at a time or it says in the manual that you can burn the motor up doing that...

My mom who cooks ALL the time, bought one and doesn't like it. She rarely uses it now. Says the short bursts that you have to run it isn't enough for what she wants to do. She wanted to use it to chop onions, vegetables, things like that.

On the other hand, a girl where I work says she uses hers all the time and likes it better to do things like crush cookies for recipes, stuff like that. This girl loves hers.

i have one and it's no good if you use it for more than 2 minutes at a time it starts to smell like the motor is burning you have to constantly press the button then release....in my a opinion it's not worth it trust me..it's an overpriced blender

I have one, but I only use it for baking. Like if I have to chop up nuts, chocolate, turning sugar into confectioners sugar, etc. It works great for that. I have tried to chop up veggies and it doesn't work that great.
