when i booted up with my windows cd in, i pressed repair because i was missing some files from windows. but now the "windows is starting up" screen is taking me about 1-2 minutes to get to my desktop. also, when im trying to browse the web, i scroll down but its like an invisible like goes down to change what i want to see on the bottom. and when i minimize it is very slow. any help is appreciated thanks.

Click on Start/Run and type in MSCONFIG, now go to the start up tab and remove all the crap. Reboot and viola, done.

hey i have the same problem.This may be caused due to many factors.
some:
1>virus
2>low ram 128 mb or something
3>Low hard disk space in c:
and some files of ur system may be corrupt.
check these
